GliderCG Scale Landing Gear Version is a special version of GliderCG Scale, with the same functionalities, but designed to be used with airplanes that incorporate a landing gear.

Although GliderCG Scale devices can be used to measure airplanes with landing gear (by turning the plane upside down), not in all models can be measured in this fashion.

This special version can accurately measure the CG, weight and weight differential between the sides of your model.

These are great to use a throttle servo and can be used in systems with other high voltage servos!

The Power HD 0804HV high voltage servos are made with brushless technology. Now - we've heard about this "brushless" stuff before but it is time to ask the question on all of our minds - why is that so great? Take a brushless motor for example - no brushes in a brushless motor (no kidding...) nor does it have the commutator - instead a small circuit board coordinates the energy delivery to the windings. Think about this technology being used in a power tool - since the electronics communicate directly with the stationary windings the tool can adapt to its surroundings - only using enough juice necessary to accomplish the job. So if you are using a brushless drill to drive a screw into Styrofoam - it will sense the lack of resistance from the foam and pulls only enough charge from the battery that it needs. Whereas a brushed drill will run as fast and hard as it can no matter the job simultaneously wasting your battery life.

"What the heck does that have to do with my servo?" Understanding the receiver

 

Setup Instruction

Binding

  1. Plug bind plug to the receiver.
  2. Provide power to the unit. LED flashes quickly.
  3. Enable bind mode in transmitter and ensure distance separation of 2 meters from receiver. Solid LED light means binding is completed.
  4. Remove bind plug.

Setting Failsafe

  1. Start by binding the receiver to the transmitter in the normal way and proceed as follows to set failsafe
  2. Ensure that transmitter and receiver are turned on.
  3. Insert bind plug into the receiver (Note: to set failsafe, bind plug is applied only when the receiver is turned on).
  4. Set transmitter controls to the desired failsafe positions.
  5. Press the side pushbutton to memorize failsafe settings.
  6. Observe that the green light at the end of the receiver turns on to indicate failsafe is set. (Repeat step 4 will cause the LED to turn off which means failsafe is disabled).
  7. Remove bind plug.
  8. Disconnect the power for at least 2 seconds and then reconnect the power again. Test failsafe by turning off the transmitter.
