In addition to being race-bred and ready for track action, the Trophy Truggy FLUX looks great, too. The aerodynamic racing truck body features a bright racing design, and the angle-pin racing tires are wrapped around cool black chrome wheels. The rear wing isn't just for looks, either - it gives the Trophy Truggy FLUX tons of downforce and extra control in the air. To top everything off, the shock caps, wheel nuts and chassis features are anodized a bright HPI orange! The Trophy Truggy FLUX is completely painted and assembled for you, fitted with an HPI 2.4GHz radio system and ready for you to add two 2S LiPo batteries! You'll get to experience 14.4 volts of monster power driving 1965KV of brushless power! All HPI vehicles are equipped with a comfortable and feature-packed HPI 2.4GHz radio system for supreme control and confidence! The radio features a pistol-grip design with steering wheel for ease of use and realistic control, compact size, servo reversing and a light weight due to it requiring only four AA batteries. Formed from 4mm thick 6061 aluminum, the chassis of the Trophy Truggy FLUX features angled sides and a huge vertical rear brace for phenomenal stiffness front-to-rear. The twin batteries fit securely within an adjustable and padded battery box, held in place with two thick hook-and-loop strips so they won't move during jumps or crashes. The layout of the components within the chassis makes it easy to change batteries, and a breeze to do maintenance!
CHASSISThe chassis of the Trophy Truggy FLUX is made from 6061 aluminum for an excellent combination of strength and light weight. The low weight allows for faster acceleration, and the durability means you can have the confidence to pull off insane stunts and jumps! To increase the chassis stiffness, it's fitted with metal rod braces front and rear - this allows the suspension to do all the work it's designed to do for improved driving feel and control without chassis twist or bending getting in the way. DRIVETRAIN The drivetrain used in the Trophy Truggy FLUX is a full-time four-wheel drive shaft-type drivetrain. The shaft drivetrain is the best option for a kit that's expected drive through mud, water, dirt, grass, snow or gravel! The entire drivetrain is supported by high quality ball bearings for extra efficiency, so you get the the maximum speed and acceleration possible, and the most out of every tank of fuel! A steel spur gear takes the power from the engine and transmits it through a central differential, which transfers power to the front and rear diffs by long central driveshafts. The front and rear bevel differentials use 4 internal gears for excellent durability over standard 2-gear diffs. The diff outdrives turn tough steel outdrives and axles, and 17mm orange anodized aluminum hex adapters spin the 7-spoke wheels, which are wrapped with Team HB Proto design rubber racing tires. To bring the Trophy to a safe and controlled stop, dual drilled steel disc brakes with fiber brake pads are used. The brake pads use material from full-size truck brakes, bringing the Trophy to a quick yet controllable stop. All the brake linkage is fully adjustable for extra tuning power on the track. SUSPENSION AND STEERING The Trophy Trophy Truggy FLUX is fully equipped with a real racing suspension to give you the driving feel and responsiveness of the pros! Long suspension arms at each corner are made from thick, impact-resistant plastic and webbed for extra strength. The shocks feature aluminum bodies and caps for extra durability and are oil-filled with rubber bladders and protective boots over the thick shock shafts. For pro-level race tuning, you have complete control over the suspension geometry of the Trophy Truggy. The shocks can be moved at the top and bottom to get the perfect positioning to help you set fast laps race after race. The camber links front and rear also have extra holes to adjust roll center and gain valuable seconds out on the track, and the links themselves are strong steel turnbuckles so you can easily adjust the angle of the tires. If you don't want to make any changes and just get out and drive, that's fine too! Absolutely everything is factory-fitted right out of the box, so you don't have to change a thing if you want to just start up the Trophy Truggy FLUX and have some fun. You are probably familiar with the old design- with the the line-in and the vent nozzle on the top of the tank and the line running to the engine on the cap. Because there are so many different fitting and sealants, there are alot of places where something can go wrong or start leaking. The V2 design eliminates ALL of these problems with ONE SIMPLE DESIGN..... ALL nozzles are in the removable cap which has TWO rubber gaskets and is ONE SOLID PIECE, which includes the vent tube and filling tube. Fewer parts = Fewer problems. Fortitude has hit the target with the V2 Tank and as always, is the best quality you can get! Fortitude (or 4titude) gas tanks are high quality, crystal clear plastic tanks, that take the guesswork and worry out of your tanks.
