Lockheed Electra Micro RTF Airplane

The Rage RC Lockheed Electra is an ultra-micro sized model of the classic 1930's Model 10 design with an accurate color scheme, factory-applied graphics, and other scale details like rivets and a preinstalled working LED set with transmitter-controlled landing lights. Realistic functioning retracts, flaps and rudders (2), and a steerable tailwheel add to the nostalgic experience of flying the Electra. For convenience the battery is installed in a magnetic compartment at the nose of the aircraft that securely holds it in place and allows for quick replacement. All connections and electronic components also have easy access when the wing is removed from the fuse. The Electra's semi-scale airfoil wing design along with the lightweight airframe (4.6oz.), combine for a smooth, stable flight performance for sport and experienced pilots. When flying assistance is needed, the PASS (Pilot Assist Stability Software) system is there to help. The PASS system is controlled by a convenient 3-position transmitter switch, allowing for in-flight selection between Full Assist, Partial Assist, and No Assist (system off). When the system is engaged in either setting, if you ever become disoriented or lose control, simply releasing the control sticks will return the aircraft to straight and level flight.

UN-CURE™ debonder will soften cured CA. If parts are bonded incorrectly or your fingers are stuck together, a few drops of UN-CURE™ will dissolve the CA in about a minute. Apply on bonded skin and roll apart fingers. Once stuck, use acetone to clean off softened CA, then wash off with soap and water. Since cured CA is essentially acrylic plastic, anything that will dissolve CA will also soften most plastics. Care must be used, therefore, when using Un-Cure on plastics. Separating plastics parts with a razor saw is usually the best option. Un-Cure™ will soften cured super glue (aka cyanoacrylate, CA). To release bonded skin (not near the eyes) apply Un-Cure™, then use a small, rounded object like a paperclip to separate the skin with a peeling action, applying more Un-Cure™ as needed until the skin areas are debonded. Wash the area with soap and water. The natural shedding of the skin’s outer layer will remove any residual CA within 12 hr. For removing CA from hard surfaces, soak a cloth or paper towel in Un-Cure™ and rub areas vigorously. Un-Cure™, however, will mar most plastics.

The Power HD Storm 3 high voltage servos are made with brushless technology. Now - we've heard about this "brushless" stuff before but it is time to ask the question on all of our minds - why is that so great? Take a brushless motor for example - no brushes in a brushless motor (no kidding...) nor does it have the commutator - instead a small circuit board coordinates the energy delivery to the windings. Think about this technology being used in a power tool - since the electronics communicate directly with the stationary windings the tool can adapt to its surroundings - only using enough juice necessary to accomplish the job. So if you are using a brushless drill to drive a screw into Styrofoam - it will sense the lack of resistance from the foam and pulls only enough charge from the battery that it needs. Whereas a brushed drill will run as fast and hard as it can no matter the job simultaneously wasting your battery life.

"What the heck does that have to do with my servo?" Well now they are incorporating that smart technology into these HD Storm 3 high voltage servos - so they are not going to be sucking the life of your Redwing LiFe battery when it doesn't have to - which means not only would you be getting a great and powerful servo - it's smart!
